Garden Club Quilt 2010
"Posies 'N' Pots"
And the winner is.......
Debbie Hudson from Orlando, Florida!!
Congratulations Debbie and thanks!
January 15th
We all got together in October to choose fabrics from our stashes. We divided up the blocks and had homework for each person to make their blocks over the holidays. Crunch time came and we all produced great blocks for the quilt. Now to put them all together!

Noel, Nancy, Eleanor, Carol W, Bobbi, Diann and Mary taking the picture....

Ann showed up later to watch "Power Pressing" by Nancy!!

Putting in the next connecting pieces.....

Blocks made by different quilters....

Diann pretending to be Vanna White.... "And you too can win this beautiful quilt!"

Isn't it nice?? (in a sort of a hang loose way...)

Nancy LOVES power pressing as Eleanor stands back giving her lots of elbow room!

Getting closer.... Almost done...... more pictures to come.....

It takes a lot of supervisors to get the job done.....

Almost there.....

One of the last seams....

The main body is done, now for the two borders!! Then, to quilt it ....

On the frame....

Almost done!
Quilting done, now for the binding....

Close-ups of some flowers and flying blue geese

Posies 'N' Pots

Binding on and now to do the handwork.
Finished size: 57" wide and 74" long.
